I saw these at Canadian Tire the other week, all beside cheap, brandless rims.

Kinja'd!!!

These are Momo Corse RPM rims, for those who don't know, and I saw them in person, with the same paintjob.

The thing that stood out to me was the price for these, less than $130 each for 16" rims. I was a bit puzzled to why Momo's are being sold there, beside no-name ones worth half the sticker price.

My target vehicle is a mid 90's to early 00's Japanese coupe (Toyota Celica/Mazda MX-6). Would a set of these look nice on cars like those? I'm also open to suggestions for similar rims.

16's eh? You can get some really good wheels for 131 dollars a piece in that size. If you down size to 15's your selection opens up even more!

The car I'm eyeing has 14's stock. I find it a bit too small to be on such a car.

15s would probably look pretty good on it. Get some wide 15s and a big sidewall and you will love the way the car looks. I originally wanted 18s for my car, but decided on 17s, it saves you money on tires and rims AND they look awesome!

Rims? Do you have a bicycle?

Or do you have 2/3-piece forged?

Or do you mean wheels?

Just to clear this up... The rim on a bike is the same thing as a rim on a car.

Rims:

Wheels:

Any HREs that will fit.

I know nothing about wheels.

Incorrect.

The rim is the outer part of a wheel.

Wheels are what you have in your first photo.

Your second photo is a wheel + tire.

In reality, those are no-name wheels that have just licensed the Momo name.

Go for a set of 15s. Look at Rotas if you want decent quality and reasonable price.

Yup. Exactly what I figured. I would consider Rotas over these.

Nobody should consider Rotas... Ever.
